Max Dunbar lives in West Yorkshire. He began writing very young, but was almost thirty before he wrote anything worth reading. He is a short form raconteur and longlister.
Q: Do you have a lucky writing talisman? If so, what is it?
A: Tea, wine and cigarettes work well for me.
Q: Do you have a favourite quote? (From a book, film, song, speech…)
A: ‘Fiction is the truth inside the lie, and the truth of this fiction is simple enough: the magic exists.’ – Stephen King, dedication to It
Q: If you could teleport yourself anywhere, real or fictional, where would it be and why?
A: I’ve never really travelled much – so I would travel to all the places I’ve never seen, starting with a tour of the US. As for time travel, I don’t know. I love to read history but not sure I’d like to live through most of it!
